Preparing To Move In 2022

Published: 18/01/2022 By Stevenson Coward Property

Have you been thinking about potentially moving home this new year but haven’t got your house on the market yet?
The property market is extremely buoyant at the moment with new properties coming onto the market and then selling just as quickly as they were launched. We are even seeing some properties selling before they even hit the property portals due to the amount of ‘hot buyers’ there are at the moment.

Hot buyers are considered as people ready to proceed. This could be a case of being a first time buyer with a mortgage in principle in place, it could be a cash buyer or even someone who has already sold their property subject to contract.
If you are hoping to move house in 2022 and you have a property to sell the best advice we can give you is get your property onto the market sooner rather than later so that we can find you a buyer and get you lined up ready to buy your next property once it hits the market!

As well as becoming a ‘hot buyer’ by selling your property before you find your dream home you also have less stress/worry when trying to sell your home in order to secure the property that you desperately want. This could lead to disappointment but also it could lead to you accepting a lower offer on your property in order for you to become proceedable.

‘But won’t I be homeless if I cant find anywhere’ is what we are often asked when we recommend the above due to the current market. The simple answer is NO, we will ensure your buyers are aware of your situation from the moment they make their offer and will keep them updated throughout your property search. With the current lack of properties on the market buyers are willing to wait for the home they fell in love with during their viewing!
